The Talygarn Equesrian News Feed Talygarn 2012 en-gb http://www.talygarnec.co.uk/news/38 Last weekend we took Carys Morgan andd Jimbob and Sarah Blake and Destiny to Sunnybank to compete in the Eventers Challenge, The Eventers Challenge consisited of 18 fences in the indoor school. some show jumps some crosscounrty and some working hunter. Sarah Blake and Destiny won the 2ft9 in the fastest time of the day and (10 secs faster than anyone else in that class) not bad considering on the way there Sarah told me she has never jumped Destiny Carys Morgan had a fence down with Jimbob and came 5th Tue, 24 Apr 2012 13:33:32 +0100 http://www.talygarnec.co.uk/news/38 http://www.talygarnec.co.uk/news/37 Four teams representing Talygarn took part tin the Pony Club Horse and Pony Care Competition at Cardiff on Monday 16th Apr. The Competition consists of practical and theory rounds about looking after horses and ponies, some of the subjects included were feeding, bandaging, pasture management, putting a bridle together etc. There were 25 junior teams entered  and our Talygarn team consisting of Kate Owen Zoe Morgan and Bethan Davies came 6th. Our younger junior team Charlotte Bloor Chloe Ellis and Jessica Kingdom did not get placed but did picked up some very good scores with Jess getting a perfect 5 for her tail bandage. The two senior teams did extrememly well as they were competing against some strong competition. Freya Hilton Libby John and Angharad Davies were placed 5th and Carys Morgan Sarah Blake and Millie Bushrod were 1st. They will now go to the National finals in Cheshire in August and compete against teams from all over the counrty. Angharad Davies, Kate Owen and Jessica Kingdom took 1st place in the centres (and 2nd place in branches and centres combined) They now qualify for the National finals to be held in Moreton Morrell Warwicks on the 1st April.
