Talygarn BHS and NVQ Training
Talygarn Equestrian Centre is an outreach centre for Yale College, Wrexham.
Talygarn Equestrian Centre has achieved the award Centre of Excellence for outstanding student achievements
The Equestrian Outreach Scheme
The Equine Industry used to train students as working pupils who financed themselves, then came the equine courses at Agricultural Colleges. However, many people would still like to train on a professional or local yard. Yale College operates a successful scheme, where centres become a classroom of the college. In other words the college delivers training on the yards just as they would on college premises, so the college is going out to the yards as opposed to the students coming into the college. Students can go to Yale College to use the facilities at any convenient time and are entitled to exactly the same support and services as a student on the main campus.

Riding and Road Safety NeXt course and Exam 5th to 8th June. Candidates need to book a place at Talygarn and then book in with the BHS. A horse will be provided and the overall cost should be £20 for the exam and training, Candidates must be 16yrs and over
